ARG Rail commenced trading in 2010 and originally provided security for all rail projects. The company developed an interest in rail construction and soon after moved into labour hire, which included AT welders by 2013. Our passion for the rail and construction industry helped attract key personnel from all disciplines, helping with our transition into whole projects. At present, we have expertise in all aspects of single discipline rail construction and are engaged in the construction and maintenance of railway assets throughout Australia.
Historically, we have mainly focused on labour and aluminothermic welding crews, however this has changed as our partnerships and overall position in the market grows. Having an experienced and loyal workforce has assisted our business in moving forward and becoming a key player within the competitive market. It has also assisted in reducing employee turnover, meaning less lost productivity and time spent training new staff.
We strive to develop strong, collaborative relationships with our clients to ensure desired outcomes are achieved and the day to day work is effectively managed. Our training, well-being and management of our workforce is taken seriously, which is reflected in our ability to provide project teams in part or whole.
Ian is a respected and integral member of ARG. Ian career began as a carpenter/builder which initiated his love for the construction industry, and provides ARG a nuanced perspective of the blue collar market. His passion and industry experience generates excitement amongst his team and promotes positive expectations amongst his candidates. Ian has been with ARG for over 10 years and has driven the growth of ARG Rail over the past 10 years, establishing a number of long lasting clients and relationships in the industry.
Richard is ARG Rail’s primary recruitment consultant, knowing the ins and outs of everything Rail. Richard has worked for ARG for approximately 10 years in a recruitment, and now senior recruitment capacity leading a team of Rail specific recruitment consultants. Richard and his team have achieved 100% adherence to KPI’s in the full supply of labour hire worker’s to all of the relevant previously mentioned projects.
